Bob Schindler took his first mission trip to Kenya in 1988 and God planted a seed in his heart to start a ministry of partnership with nationals. Mission ONE was founded in 1991; fifteen years later, the ministry is praising God for effective partners in Africa and Asia serving among the unreached. The keynote speaker for the Mission ONE Anniversary Banquet, Dr. Paul R. (Bobby) Gupta, is the author of the recently published book, “Breaking Tradition to Accomplish Vision” with co-author Dr. Sherwood Lingenfelter. This book tells the amazing story of Hindustan Bible Institute and the creative and bold changes they have made to serve the church planting movements in India in order to disciple that nation for Christ. Bobby is a highly respected leader in the global movement of partnership with nationals. Fuller Seminary's School of Intercultural studies voted Bobby as the Alumnus of the year for 2005.
