Overview: Mekong Evangelical Mission (MEM) Thailand has been a Mission ONE partner since 1995.
MEM Thailand’s ministry includes evangelism, discipleship, church planting, and leadership training.
Their ministry activities include Bible teaching, Bible seminary, church growth/development, radio ministry, orphan care, pastoring, and children’s education through MEM Christian School.
MEM Thailand is led by Dr. Chansamone and Pon Saiyasak. Chansamone has an amazing testimony of God’s grace and blessing. His family fled their homeland as refugees from the Vietnam War and settled in the USA. A church visited them in the “projects” and, eventually, everyone in the Saiyasak family converted from Buddhism to faith in Christ. Years later, Chansamone surrendered to God’s ministry call, earned a doctor’s degree in missiology, and returned to Southeast Asia to share the truth of God’s Word.
