Mission ONE offers a variety of ways to serve your small group ministry and your church family

Operation WorldView can be offered as a live seminar event for your church, or as a Video Series that can be used for small and large groups. For more about the live event click here.

As an introductory teaching on world missions, the Operation WorldView Video Series is excellent for:

  • Small groups and Sunday School classes that focus on missions
  • An 8-week study series leading up to your annual mission conference
  • Church members preparing for short-term mission trips needing to “get on the same page”
  • Christian high schools and home schoolers wanting a video missions curriculum for 11th and 12th graders
  • Mission committee members seeking a shared vision, theological baseline, or strategy
  • Sunday evening (or morning) study series to teach a mission vision to the whole church family
  • Churches of all sizes

Other options:

On-site training of small-group leaders

  • Operation WorldView producer Werner Mischke is available to come to your church and train the leaders of your small groups or Sunday School teachers — on the weekend before your series begins
  • "Best practices" and helpful hints from the Study Guide
  • Discover the value of the “On your own” Bible studies in the Study Guide
  • Q & A, and prayer time

Mission conference as a follow-up to Operation WorldView Video Series

  • Bob Schindler or Werner Mischke may serve as special speakers in your missions conference
  • Host a Mission ONE national missionary key leader from Africa or Asia and have him or her speak in your missions conference, sharing dynamic stories from the frontiers of Africa or Asia
  • Host a Destiny Workshop for your women’s ministry — sponsored by ONE Woman, a ministry of Mission ONE

“On your own” Bible study option: an opportunity to go deeper in God’s Word — plus share in small group interaction what God is speaking to you

In the Study Guide there is a one- or two-page Bible study following each lesson called “On your own.” This offers the student a deeper exploration of the lesson’s theme and related Scriptures. There are three small-group options for handling this:

Small group discussion is part of each lesson

In the Study Guide, “Discuss the lesson” consists of a brief list of questions in the Study Guide for group discussion following each video lesson. It provides a clear guide for interesting dialog, making it easy to have a successful small group experience. Following each video lesson, the small group facilitator may lead in one or all of the questions listed. For example, after Lesson One, the questions are:

1. What is the main truth you have learned from this lesson?

2. What do you think about your story being in God’s Story—going back to Abraham? a) Is this a new idea to you? b) To what degree is it frightening, adventuresome, or delightful?

3. God asked Abraham to give his son, Isaac, as a burnt offering—a profoundly difficult request. There are many dimensions to why God did this. What do you think is one of the reasons?

4. “God reveals His glory to all nations—in order to receive glory from all peoples through worship.” How would you rephrase this in your own words?
