Reason #1: COMPASSION

Mission ONE pleads the cause of the poor and needy and shows biblical compassion in the hard places of the world

Many national missionaries are laboring under severe hardship and poverty, struggling just to feed and clothe their families. They have so little; we have so much. Supporting these worthy servants of God through the Mission ONE Partners In Mission Program is a way to show biblical compassion-the right thing to do.

Mission ONE sends relief to impoverished national missionaries who, in turn, are ministering directly to the physically poor and spiritually needy in their tribes, villages, and neighboring cultures.

Partnership with national missionaries is a compassionate and strategic way to serve the needs of some of the poorest people on earth, and at the same time, empower them to preach the riches of the gospel of Christ to the poor and needy around them. In so doing, we become a great blessing and a tremendous instrument of inspiration.

Passion for the glory of God; compassion for the poor and the lost

Should mission ministry be driven by human needs? Mission ONE believes that compassionate ministry is driven by a vision for the true worship of Jesus among all peoples. This does not diminish the Christian obligation of compassion for the poor; rather, it inspires a higher way of compassion.

This kind of compassion is a blend of providing what poor and lost peoples need — and envisioning what poor and lost peoples can contribute in unique worship to the Lord Jesus; it is loving God and loving them toward that end.
