ONE Stories from Asia
INDIA "God is moving mightily in all our services. We declared the months of October, November and December as months of prayer. Everyday, we spent more time together interceding for our nation and state. God gave us good harvest. Many non-Christians came to the knowledge of Jesus. Many sick people were healed by the power of God. People are growing in the Lord. Praise God!" "During the Christmas season, we had planned a big meeting. Some young men came in to the shamiyana and began to beat me up. They then took away the microphone system and told me not to preach the Gospel. We were filled with fear and vacated the area. I asked the Lord to intervene and give me back the boldness and confidence to preach the Gospel. At the New Year service, three people made commitments to the Lord Jesus Christ. This I believe is the Lord telling me that people may do anything to stop the preaching of the Word, but the Spirit of God will continue to minister and move. I am now more than eager to minister for the Lord." "There was a woman who had become mad due to some reason. We as a church fasted and prayed for her. Her husband refused to accept her due to her madness. As we prayed, God restored her to the normal state and completely healed her. Her husband later came and accepted her and the Lord. Now they are a happy couple. Praise God! Nothing is difficult for our God!" "A man named Ramanaiah from a Hindu family was paralyzed. He was totally bedridden and was not able to do anything. Through the power of our Lord Jesus and prayer, he experienced total and complete healing. Through this miracle, his entire family has begun to come to church and has accepted the Lord as their personal Savior." "We had started three prayer groups...In all these prayer groups there were all together fifteen people who were under the bondage of Satan and were tormented by evil spirits. God delivered every one of them and these people and their families started attending our church. Praise God!" KAZAKHSTAN "I thank you so much for the money you send me every month. This is a picture of God's love for me, and my husband who does not have a job. But he sees how God provides for us. We had a group of 15 Bible School students visiting us for two months. For one and a half months we prayed for this village. There were no believers in the village. In the last two weeks, we had 11 converts. We had a family there who let us meet in their house, which we rented in the beginning. Later, they also believed in Jesus Christ." MYANMAR "We are trying to spread the Gospel. But we have faced many difficulties and persecution by Governors. Some ministers had been arrested and persecuted. They are trying to stop Christianity. Pray for us and our country. We believe that God can remove all of such things. If there is no persecution and no hindrance, many people will be converted." NEPAL "I started a new program out of the country. I was praying for Bhutan and the Nepali people of India. Last year God gave me a good opportunity to go there. When I went there we recruited some students to work in Bhutan and India. Many people were saved through our teams, including 8 from inside Bhutan. Many sick people were healed through the various teams' prayers. So I thank God that He really gave an answer to our prayers. Praise the Lord. Amen!" |
